About the destination

Pink Beach, or Tangsi Beach, is in Sekaroh Village, Jerowaru District, East Lombok. The pink colour of the sand comes from fragments of red coral mixed with white sand, and is most visible at the water’s edge in sunny weather (Native Indonesia, in Indonesian).

The area is still quiet. Facilities are limited to a parking area, small food stalls and public toilets, so a boat trip from Tanjung Luar combined with snorkelling at Gili Petelu is the most comfortable way to enjoy it.
