About the destination

Gili Trawangan is the largest and busiest of the three Gilis off north-west Lombok, together with Gili Meno and Gili Air, in North Lombok Regency. The island has no motor vehicles; visitors get around by bicycle or cidomo (horse cart).

The water between the three Gilis is clear and shallow, which makes it ideal for snorkelling. Gili Air is known for its abundant fish, and Gili Meno for its underwater statues.
