Ubud in Gianyar Regency is the centre of Balinese art and culture, with the Tegallalang rice terraces to its north. Bedugul in Tabanan offers the lakeside Ulun Danu Beratan Temple and cool mountain air, while Nusa Penida adds the most photogenic cliffs and beaches.
